Its starts with a lightweight body of resonant, organic poplar that is combined with a custom-spec bolted quartersawn maple neck and a comfortable rolled-edge rosewood fingerboard. Sonically, the Charvel Jake E. Lee is as versatile as they come, with a pair of Hendrix-slanted DiMarzio SDS-1 DP111 single-coils in the neck and middle positions that are brimming with rock tone reflective of decades past and present. In the bridge position, the Jake E. Lee's Seymour Duncan JB humbucker gives you the heat and output needed to really front load your amp and slam on the throttle for extra crunch.
