This non-tilt spiral balance features a red bushing at its tip, with a bow tie device at the end of the spiral rod. The bow tie engages a balance foot on the window's bottom edge. Typically used on wood windows, it's also suitable for other types. Measuring 24 inches long and 9/16 inches in diameter, it's charged using the Prime-Line part H 3788 Tensioning Tool. It's compatible with most vinyl single hung tilt windows, has an adjustable weight range, and a maximum weight rating of 25 lbs. Spiral balance clips and the tension tool can be purchased separately.
