This lamp, with its chestnut bronze base and finely detailed carving, will create a stunning presence in any room and works well with many styles of decor. Showcasing the classic lines of this lamp and cut from the highest quality solid brass, the P14-232-C71 has an antique brass finish achieved by coloring the solid brass with an application of acid oxide. The finish is then darkened and partially rubbed away, leaving dark highlights throughout. All oxidized finishes are protected with a finish coat of matte lacquer. This House of Troy light fixture has a hinged, adjustable arm that is easily adjustable up to 14-3/4-Inch tall allowing for ample illumination while playing your piano or working at your desk. The P14-232-C71 uses two medium base T10, 60W (maximum) incandescent bulbs housed in an 14-Inch wide shade controlled by a switch on the base. This lamp is CA Title 20 Compliant when used with a compact fluorescent light bulb. The 5-Inch square base has a factory formed opening for the 9-foot brown cord and polarized plug. The metal components of House of Troy products should be cleaned with warm water and a soft cloth; using soaps or glass cleaners may damage the metal finish.
