This heavy stud RBC cam follower is part of the RBC HexLube Universal line of cam followers. It can be relubricated through the hex head which can be a great convenience in tight spaces or when stud access is impossible. A cam follower that is properly maintained and lubricated will last longer than a cam follower that is neglected due to the difficulties posed by relubrication. The hex head feature is the preferred mounting method for stud-type cam followers, and with 2 gap seals to keep contaminants out, this RBC HexLube cam follower is the versatile workhorse of the needle bearing cam follower product line. RBC HexLube Universal Cam Followers are designed for applications such as automation and production equipment, bottling and canning, printing machinery, material handling, construction equipment, transfer lines, food processing, and packaging equipment. An added feature of this bearing is a heavy duty stud. Heavy studs are designed to provide additional stud strength for applications with high loading or shock loads where the stud will be subjected to high bending stresses.
