The FlatTop is a stemless EDC spin top hand machined from solid metal that feels great in your hand, and is comfortable in your pocket! The FlatTop is designed to be something you enjoy having in your pocket and carried frequently; it is not designed for record breaking spin times. The significant weight of the top and the 1/16" silicon nitride bearing results in respectable and easily achievable spin times of 5 min plus for someone who has no experience spinning a top. Spinning the top from the outer diameter results in lower RPMs compared to stemmed tops, however, I have achieved spin times over 12 minutes using the limited edition copper FlatTop with the buffalo nickel. I am offering the copper FlatTop with an authentic buffalo nickel pressed into the top. I've been an enthusiast of coins since I was a kid and have always loved the buffalo nickel. A classic, timeless design over 100 years old that pairs perfectly with the simplicity of the FlatTop. The copper FlatTop is machined from a solid rod of Tellurium copper. Copper is an awesome metal in terms of both physical properties and aesthetics. Copper and its alloys were some of the first metallic elements discovered by ancient man and you can put a custom chunk of that metal in your pocket, spin it, and make your friends jealous! We've had some custom FlatTop boxes and information cards made up. If you are getting your FlatTop as a gift, it will come nicely packaged and ready to wrap!
